Don’t Ape is a 0% tax community coin utilizing 100% hand-drawn art. Our liquidity is locked, our contract is renounced; and our intent is to forge ourselves into a house-hold brand. Through our art, stories, partnerships, rewards, and NFT’s tied 1:1 to physical products – we’re confident we’ll do just that.
The origins of Don’t Ape were somewhat rocky. Our deployer abandoned the project shortly after launch, leaving initial investors in a bind. For months, the token sat untouched. Until one day, a group of friends decided to build on the contract. We started with the art, and created our character “Saru”. We then wrote his back-story, and at that point; we really fell in love. Motivated by the sheer desire to make the best “thing” we could together, we continued building
Today, we still carry that same motivation. We love our art, we love working together, and we envision Don’t Ape becoming a multi-billion dollar brand that’s known everywhere in our space, and outside of it.
Don’t Ape is both for the masses, and tailored towards collectors. Our NFT’s which are tied 1:1 to physical products like shirts, and comics – will always be limited. However, we also offer digital versions of many of our products – such as our comics, which are made available for free to our community.
Furthermore – we offer holder rewards as a means of further incentivizing our community. Holding .5% of supply will earn you the title “Baby Ape”, and will allow you access to our DAO. Holding 1.5% will earn you the title “King Ape”, and will grant you custom artwork, first access to our NFT/product launches, and will even make you eligible to receive audits for any project you like, done directly by our team.
Looking beyond what we can produce on our own, we are and will continue establishing strategic partnerships. As of writing this paper, we have joined forces with an international snack brand, and will soon be making Don’t Ape banana chips a reality in stores everywhere. Additionally, we are working on an energy drink collaboration; and will be venturing into other things such as – children’s books for hospitals, home decor, staking, Don’t Ape games and bots, and even a pizza shop!

Once upon a time, in a land not so far away, there was a monkey named Saru. Saru was a humble, hardworking performance monkey; who made his living entertaining people on the street. While he was relatively happy, Saru struggled to make ends meet, and couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing. .
One day, a bored, but wealthy ape, came by and gave Saru a huge tip! Saru was very grateful. The next day that same ape came by and gave Saru another big tip! Saru wondered how the bored ape could afford to throw around money so frivolously. The bored ape sensed his wonderment and desperation, and before Saru could even speak, the bored ape said a single word. “Crypto.”
Saru had heard of this, and was always intrigued by the premise of quick riches, so he decided to try his luck. However, he wasn’t ready to go in blind, so he asked the bored ape for one final piece of advice. “How do I know which coins to buy?” Saru asked earnestly. The bored ape, now foaming at the mouth, replied with haste- “JUST APE EVERYTHING.” And so began Saru’s journey.
At first, Saru was finding success, and stacking eth; but the greed was building inside of him, and before he could recognize it, he started losing touch with reality. The bored apes influence was so strong in fact, that even after successful flips, Saru began immediately aping into whatever low mc coin he saw first on telegram. This was not going well for Saru anymore. The humble, hardworking monkey of the past, had changed. All sense of reason and critical thinking were gone, and in their place – madness, greed, and new vices, had found a home.
